Cardinal Schools Board of Education voted Monday to transfer $150,000 to a special budget stabilization cost center to help the district get through 2014 in the black. Voters passed a 9.7-mill levy in November 2012, district Treasurer Merry Lou Knuckles told the board during her tax budget presentation.
