Ty Kellogg grew up in Chardon on what he called a “variety farm” — beef, chicken, maple syrup and hay. He loves to put his hands in the dirt and boasts he is probably “the best darn rock picker you’ll ever find.” Today, he is organization director for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, or OFBF, and works on behalf of members in Ashtabula, Lake, Geauga, Portage and Trumbull counties.
