President Obama responded to Miss Reichard’s third-grade class after receiving a “Flat Stanley” letter. The president sent pictures of himself and the Obama family, including the family dog Bo, a map of Washington, D.C., a letter to the class and a personally signed letter to Miss Reichard thanking her for being a teacher.
