Stella, 5, was the star of Chad Rosko’s fourth-grade class during a brief ceremony at Kenston Intermediate School Dec. 1. But she looked like she would rather be chomping bubbles or running up and down the driveway. The red bone coon hound mix joined her human family member, Emily Collier, 9, as they received a proclamation from Geauga County Auditor Frank Gliha that decreed, at least for the next year, Stella to be the “#1 Dog” in the county.
