For Parkman Roads, a Levy Tie is a Loss

Thirteen years ago, a tie in the Parkman Township Trustee’s race between Don Villers and Al Wilson resulted in a coin flip to determine that Wilson was the winner. On March 15, Parkman voters deadlocked once again in a 308-308 vote on an additional 2-mill, five-year road levy. This time, however, a tie meant the levy did not get a majority of votes, so it failed, according to the official results from the Geauga County Board of Elections, released Tuesday.
