Viola Black, Unknown Spouse of Viola Black, Unknown Heirs of Viola Black, Unknown Spouse of Ular Stubbs, Jr. and Unknown Heirs of Ular Stubbs, Jr., whose last known address is 16771 Kent Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44022, and present address is unknown, and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained shall take notice; and, if deceased, their unknown heirs, devises, legatees, administrators, executors and assigns will take notice that on the 17th day of September, 2015, the Treasurer Of Geauga County, filed a Complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, Geauga County, Ohio, 100 Short Court, Chardon, Ohio 44024, entitled Christopher P. Hitchcock, Treasurer Of Geauga County V. Viola Black, et al., Case No: 15-F-000740, against the above-named parties, praying that the premises hereinafter described be sold for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes, owed and unpaid, is Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Dollars and Six Cents ($14,480.06) together with accruing taxes, assessments, penalties, interest and charges; as well as court costs.

Situated in the Township of Bainbridge, County of Geauga and State of Ohio, an accurate description and plat as follows, to wit:
And known as being Lots Nos. 830, 831, 832, 833 as shown on a certain plat entitled “Map of Chagrin Falls Park”, which map is recorded in the office of the Recorder of Geauga County, Ohio in Vol. 1, Pages 60-61 of Geauga County Records of Plats and Surveys, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways and subject to conditions, easements and restrictions of record.

The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment again the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.
The above-named parties are required to answer on or before twenty-eight (28) days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

PARKMAN TOWNSHIP
ZONING RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that the Parkman Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an appeal for an area variance to the Parkman Township Zoning Resolution on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 7:30 o’clock p.m. at the Parkman Township Community House located at 16295 Main Market Road Parkman, Ohio 44062.
This application submitted by Mr. David Kurtz, 16777 Shedd Road (Parkman Township), Middlefield, Ohio 44062, is requesting a variance from the Parkman Township Zoning Resolution for property located at, 16777 Shedd Road, Parkman Township which shall be in accordance with all of the applicable regulations for the District and the following regulations: ARTICLE IV Section 402.2 Permitted Accessory Buildings, Structures, and Uses (which are on the same lot with and incidental or subordinate to the principal permitted building, structure, or use) G. Notice is hereby given that sealed bids marked as “JOB & FAMILY SERVICES  PARKING  FACILITIES  IMPROVEMENTS” will be received during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday until 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in the Geauga County Board of Commissioners Office at 470 Center Street, Bldg. #4, Chardon, Ohio 44024, or by mail at the same address. Bids received shall be publicly opened and read aloud the same day at said office at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
The specifications will be available for inspection at the Maintenance Department, 470 Center Street, Building #1-B, Chardon, Ohio, during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday from Thursday, June 16, 2016, UNTIL 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016. The Engineer’s construction cost estimate for the project is $600,562.00.
The bid packages may be picked up at the Geauga County Maintenance Department.  Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Geauga County, or by a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount, in favor of the aforesaid Geauga County. The Bid Guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a proper contract in accordance with the bid, bid package documents and specifications, and plans, if any, will be entered into and its performance properly secured.

A 100% Performance bond will be required from the approved bidder prior to entering into a contract. Bid, Performance, Labor & Material and Maintenance bonds shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. All Bid, Performance, Maintenance and Labor & Material Bonds shall be accompanied by proof of authority of the official or agent signing the bond.   Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements of this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages and various insurance requirements.
Geauga County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any informalities and/or irregularities in the bids.  The County’s decision on any award is final. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of national origin, creed, color, or gender.
