Great Debate: School Uniforms
Should schools ban uniforms? Seventh-graders applied ancient Greek debate practices to the current day topic of school uniforms.
As a part of the social studies seventh-grade curriculum, students are examining the philosophical and political contributions debates have made in modern day society. Prior to the debate, students worked in groups to research the topic.

In remembrance of Sept. 11 and appreciation of local police and firefighters, students in grades K-6 wrote thank you letters to police officers and firefighters. The letters along with a kit filled with candy were delivered to the Chardon Police Department and the Munson Fire Department.
