Although 2013 is coming to an end, new equipment for first responders will ensure effectiveness in the new year — and beyond. Over the past year, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center donated equipment and supplies to police and fire departments throughout Geauga County to enable their emergency services teams to better help stabilize both traumatic injury and illness victims in the field, said University Hospitals Media Relations Affiliate Russ Lindway.
