While 284 pumps were checked at 31 stations in Geauga County as part of a statewide “Skimmer Sweep,” no credit card skimmers were found, said Geauga County Auditor Frank Gliha. However, five illegal credit card skimming devices were found and removed from gas pumps in Ohio — two in Erie County and one skimmer each in Fulton, Sandusky and Greene counties, according to Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith, who hosted the sweep over Labor Day weekend along with Gliha and 60 other county auditors.
