NHS Honors Choir
Four Newbury high school students traveled to Cleveland State University to participate in the Ohio Music Educators Association District IV and VII Honors Choir last week. They were selected by the Honors Choir committee to participate in the event with other top Cleveland-area high school vocalists. The group rehearsed and learned a full concert’s worth of repertoire over the course of three days, with just around 12 hours total of rehearsal time. They performed a final community concert in Waetjen Auditorium at Cleveland State on Nov. 12.
