Students took a moment to sing some carols and share the Christmas spirit at the second annual Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus on NDCL’s campus on Dec. 17.

NDCL students and staff donated about 150 wrapped Christmas gifts for the children of Metro Catholic School, a ministry of our Sisters of Notre Dame on Cleveland’s West Side.

Freshman Grace Delaney ties the fringe on a fleece blanket for the homeless after her semester exams on Friday. NDCL Campus Ministry offered the blanket-making opportunity as a way to transform the stress of exam week by helping those in need. The blankets will be distributed to the homeless served by Cleveland’s Saint Malachi Church and Painesville’s Saint Mary Church.

Freshmen Paige Rowley and Mackenzie Miller, campus minister Sarah Reed, seniors Maura Delaney and Matt Nieset and juniors Matt Christopher and Trent Dlugos help to sort hundreds of food items for Geauga County Hunger Task Force. The donations will provide food to eight member agencies in early January.
