Only a dozen people showed up to the Feb. 21 Chardon City Council and the planning commission meeting to hear a proposal to produce medical marijuana Chardon. The crowd seemed small in contrast to the over 14,000 views and 129 shares of the meeting preview on the Geauga County Maple Leaf Facebook page. Of the dozens of Facebook responses to the idea of growing and processing medical marijuana in the city limits, only a few spoke against the proposal.
