Due to budget cuts at the state level, 315 public school districts in Ohio will lose $105 million in state aid for the 2017-2018 school year. And Cardinal Schools is one of them. “Looking at the estimates for next year, we will have about a $520,000 loss in state funding,” district Treasurer Merry Lou Knuckles told school board members at their March 8 meeting.
