The following dogs are available for adoption at the Geauga County Dog Shelter, 12513 Merritt Road, Claridon Township. For more information on animal adoption and hours, call the shelter at 440-279-2180. The shelter is in desparate need of rawhides, moist and meaty dog food, dry dog food, laundry detergent, paper towels and treats. The shelter also is always looking for volunteers, especially on Mondays, trainers and foster homes. Hours open: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday, 2-7 p.m. Closed Thursday and Sunday.
