2017 Immunization Clinics
The Geauga County General Health District offers walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immunization record as well as a primary insurance card.
The following is a list of upcoming immunization clinics:
Chardon, July 5, Geauga Health District, 470 Center St., Building 8, 9-11:30 a.m.
Chardon, July 13, Geauga Health District, 470 Center St., Building 8, 3-6 p.m.
Middlefield, July 12, First United Methodist Church, 14999 S. State Ave., 9-11:30 a.m.
Middlefield, July 19, First United Methodist Church, 14999 S. State Ave., 9-11:30 a.m.
Middlefield, July 20, First United Methodist Church, 14999 S. State Ave., 3-6 p.m.
To better serve the residents of Geauga County, beginning Sept. 1, the health district’s clinic schedules will be changing. Chardon morning immunization clinics will no longer be offered on the first Wednesday of each month. Middlefield morning immunization clinics will no longer be offered on the third Wednesday of the month.
Adult immunizations, TB test and blood pressure screenings will only be offered on the first and third Friday of each month.

Bloodmobile
American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

NAMI Potluck Picnic

Join NAMI for its annual summertime potluck picnic at Headwaters Park, 13365 Old State Road in Huntsburg. Bring a dish to share. All NAMI Geauga participants, members and their families are welcome.

NAMI Community Garden
NAMI has begun Planting for Change, a garden open to individuals living with mental illness or addiction, along with their loved ones and everyone in the community. Visit the garden at Morning Star Friends Church, 12550 Ravenna Raod in Chardon. Open gardening times are Tuesdays, 8-11 a.m.; Thursdays, 5-8 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn gardening skills while making lasting connections.
