About 660 feet of water line on Rapids and Elmar roads in Burton Village could be replaced by spring, eliminating water leaks in the area. Burton Village Board of Public Affairs recommended the village begin the process to get bids for the work at its Aug. 8 meeting. The water line is one of many that are deteriorating throughout the village’s aging infrastructure.
