The Chardon Schools Board has hired Ashley Brudno, assistant treasurer with Orange Schools, to be the district’s new Chief Financial Officer, according a news release after Thursday night’s special meeting. Brudno, who was hired unanimously by the five-member board, will replace Paul Pestallo, who has been serving as Interim Treasurer since October 2013. Brudno was given a three-year contract that will begin August 1, 2014.
