The Chardon Fire Department has been busy over the last several days, shutting down three separate fires in both the city and Chardon Township. The department responded to a home on Roryanna Drive in Chardon Township Oct. 20 at 5:40 p.m. for a fire in an attached garage, said Fire Chief Larry Gaspar in a press release. “The fire was brought under control in about 15 minutes,” he said. “Damage was caused to items in the garage and the fire did not extend into the living portion of the home. The residents were home at the time and no one was injured.”...
