Honoring Veterans Day

Veterans were celebrated across the district and by third-graders at Timmons Elementary School. Annually students invite parents, grandparents or a special friend who has served in the military to share stories about military life and their branch of the service. Guest speakers often bring military mementos to share.

Students honored the veterans by performing military and patriotic songs.
