Geauga County Engineer Joe Cattell recently announced the start/continuance of construction on the following roads in Geauga County:
- Valentine Road in Thompson Township. Bridge and culvert replacements between the Leroy Township line and Clay Street. Work is scheduled to begin on/about July 2 and will last for approximately three weeks. Road will be closed to traffic. Detour route will be posted.
- Claridon Troy Road in Burton Township. Asphalt Resurfacing from the Village of Burton corporation line to Taylor Wells Road. Work is scheduled to begin on/about June 25 and will last for approximately four weeks. Traffic will be maintained.
- Laser Drive Reconstruction in Chester Township. Reconstruction by cement stabilization including asphalt resurfacing. Work is scheduled to begin on/about July 16. Road will be closed.
- Bundysburg Road Drainage Improvements in Parkman Township. Road culvert replacements from state Route 88 to the Trumbull County line. Road will be closed; detour will be posted.
- Cedar Road in Chester Township. Asphalt Resurfacing from U.S. 306 to Sperry Road. Traffic will be maintained.
- Heath Road in Chester and Munson Townships. Asphalt Resurfacing from U.S. 322 to Kim Drive. Traffic will be maintained.
- Auburn Road in Auburn Township. Asphalt resurfacing from Washington Street to Franks Road. Traffic will be maintained.
