Mary Boe Doerr THOMPSON TWP. Mary Boe Doerr, age 73, of Thompson Township, passed away at home on Dec. 9, 2013, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Her loving family was at her side. She was born in Oakland, Md., on May 17, 1940, to Edward Sollars and Helen (nee McNemar) and married Carl Doerr on Aug. 27, 1960, in Oakland, Md. Mary was an active supporter of Ledgemont sports as a member of the Booster Club and SOACC. She also was a contract driver for Ledgemont Schools, caring for many children through the years.
