The top four vote-getters in the UH Geauga Medical Center Auxiliary’s 2014 Decorate a Bra contest were, from first to fourth place: “Lego of Cancer,” by Kristen Steiner and Kathy McKinley; “Fishing for a Cure,” by Chardon Municipal Court staff; “Show the Girls,” by UHGMC offices and “I Will Survive,” by Debbie Morgan.
More than 60 bras were submitted with “Lego of Cancer” raising more than $1,000 for the Seidman Cancer Center at UHGMC. More than $5,000 were raised at the event, organizer Karen Cico said.
Those attending the annual luncheon at the Sisters of Notre Dame Education Center last Saturday bought tickets for $1 each and voted by depositing them with their favorite bra. All the bras will be on display at UH Geauga.
