Hearing Presentation: Aug. 6, 10:30 a.m. Beltone of Middlefield will present a talk on the causes of hearing loss followed by free screenings.

Best Solutions: Aug. 6, 1 p.m. Learn about current home medical supplies and equipment. Following the presentation, Best Solutions will present Bingo.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP

The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP 4527 will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Bain-bridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.

The program includes a performance by the Golden Oldies, a senior singing group. The event is free; come find out what AARP is all about.

The next scheduled trip is to Seneca Niagara Casino in New York on Aug. 20. There is a stand-by list for the trip. Upcom-ing trips include a trip to the Meadows Casino in Pennsylvania Sept. 17 and to Seneca Allegheny Casino in New York in October. The group is still collecting school supplies and items needed to start school as well as items for Food For Friends food pantry. For more information, call Betty Franek at 440-543-4767.

Learning for a Lifetime

The seventh annual Learning for a Lifetime will be held at Kent State University Geauga Campus in Burton on Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by The Geauga County Department on Aging, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and KSU Geauga, the event provides Geauga County seniors with the opportunity to “go back to school.”

The $12 cost includes a continental breakfast, choice of three classes and boxed lunch prepared by Sun Valley Party Center. Deadline to register is Aug. 11 unless the maximum number is reached before then. Class sizes are limited.

Registration forms are available at all of the Geauga County senior centers and local libraries. To have one mailed and get a list of classes offered, call Becky at 440-279-2131.
