The Unknown Heirs, Devisees, Legatees, Executors, Administrators, Spouses and Assigns and the Unknown Guardians of Minor and/or Incompetent Heirs of Annamae Arnold, whose last known address is Address Unknown, and will take notice that on the 7th day of May, 2014, Sun West Mortgage Company, Inc. filed its Complaint in the Common Pleas Court of Geauga County, 100 Short Court, First Floor, Chardon, Ohio 44024 in Case No. 14-F-000372, on the docket of the Court, and the object and demand for relief of which pleading is to foreclose the lien of plaintiff’s mortgage recorded upon the following described real estate to wit:

Notice is hereby given that the valuations for tax year 2014 have been completed and are now open for public inspection. Said valuations may be checked at the Real Estate Department of the Auditor’s Office, Courthouse Annex, 231 Main Street, Chardon, OH 44024.
This legal notice is being made to comply with Ohio Revised Code, Section 5715.17 requiring publication in the newspaper and does not change any prior written notification. Taxpayers are advised that any and all changes to valuations have already been made, by mail, to every property owner. No changes to valuations are done without written notification.
Complaints against any valuation or assessment except those fixed by the Department of Taxation will be heard by the Board of Revision on January 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Auditor’s Office, at 215 Main Street. A. Republic Steel Corporation, n/k/a LTV Steel Company, Inc. is hereby notified that it is or may be the record interest holder of an oil and gas lease granted by Wayne G. Alderman to Mohawk Oil Corporation, dated October 31, 1969, and recorded in Volume 32, Page 131 of the Geauga County Records (hereinafter “the Lease”), encumbering the following property:
Situated in Huntsburg Township, County of Geauga, State of Ohio, and described as follows, to wit: Bounded on the North by lands of Griffin Farm, East by lands of Tsp line, South by lands of State Route 86, West by lands of Korn Farm, containing 85 acres, more or less.
The primary term of the Lease was for ten (10) years, expiring on October 31, 1979. The Lease remains in force after the primary term only “as long thereafter as operations for oil or gas are being conducted on the premises, or oil or gas is found in paying quantities thereon, or any formation underlying the herein leased land is used for storage of gas as provided under paragraph 7” of the Lease.
The present owner of this property is Donald H. Jenter, having acquired the title by virtue of the Warranty Deed dated September 25, 1974 and recorded in Volume 571, Page 86 of the Records of Geauga County, Ohio. Donald H. Jenter became sole owner of the property after his wife and joint tenant with rights of survivorship, Barbara J. Jenter, died on April 28, 2011, an Affidavit of Surviving Spouse being properly recorded at Volume 1908, Page 868 of the Geauga County Records on September 8, 2011.
As a result, the landowner intends to record an Affidavit with the Geauga County Recorder declaring the lease forfeited, if you do not release the Lease within thirty (30) days from the receipt of this notice.

ORDINANCE NO. 2841
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MAXIMUM AMOUNT PAYABLE FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL INSURANCE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF CHARDON BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2015 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance establishing the maximum amount payable by the City of Chardon for employee medical and dental insurance; the maximum the City will pay is $489.92/month for single coverage; $1,072.42/month for employee/spouse coverage; $822.93/month for employee/child(ren) coverage and $1,507.28/month for family coverage for medical insurance; and $34.21/month for single coverage and $93.82/month for family coverage for dental insurance.

An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to renew the contract with Guardian to purchase group dental insurance beginning January 1, 2015 in the amount of $37.21 per month for single coverage and $102.36 per month for family coverage.

An ordinance authorizing the Finance Director to make annual adjustments to the fees for emergency medical transport services based on changes in the ambulance inflation factor, effective on January 1, 2015, and each year thereafter.

An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a collective bargaining agreement for three years with street, water and sewer employees through the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 3824, and Ohio Council 8, AFL/CIO to provide public services.

RESOLUTION NO. 55-14
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND/OR LOCAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM(S) AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AS REQUIRED.
