The majority of Geauga County voters exercised a note of caution in the Nov. 4 election by approving renewal levies while rejecting additional property taxes to support maintenance on streets, roads and bridges, according to unofficial results. The real losers in the election could be Geauga drivers. Bucking the trend was Auburn Township, where It’ssue 10 passed with a margin of about 85 votes. The five-year, 2-mill road and bridge levy received 1,179 votes for it and 1,094 against the increased tax.
