Flu Shots Available
The Geauga County Health District has announced its adult flu clinics for adults 19 and older.
Flu shots will be available every Friday during the season from 8:30-11 a.m. at 470 Center St., Building 8, Chardon.
Geauga County Health District will bill most Medicare and employer health plans. The flu vaccinations cost $30 or $40 for high dose vaccine if they are paid for in cash.

Bloodmobile
American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors may give every 56 days and must bring some form of photo identification and a list of all current medications.
Eligible donors with all types are needed, especially those with O negative, A negative and B negative.

Flu Shots
Lake Health is offering quadrivalent flu shots for $30 at the Chardon Campus, 510 Fifth Ave., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No appointment is necessary. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to receive the seasonal flu vaccine at our centers. The influenza vaccination is covered by Medicare.

Blood Pressure Screenings
Lake Health will offer free blood pressure checks at the Chardon Campus, 510 Fifth Ave., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
LGRC Alumni Meeting
The next meeting of the Lake-Geauga Recovery Center Alumni Association will be held on Nov. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Mentor offices located at 9083 Mentor Ave. LGRC alumni and their family members are encouraged to attend.

Parents 360Rx
Chardon Community Action Team members will conduct the program, Parents 360Rx, on Nov. 16 at Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St. The evening will begin at 6:15 p.m. with a free soup and bread dinner followed by an informative talk from 7-8 p.m.
The program is designed to expand an adult’s knowledge of prescription drug abuse and increase their confidence in speaking with teens about difficult choices.

2014 Immunization Clinics
The Geauga County General Health District offers free walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18. Residents must present an immun-ization record as well as a current insurance card. The following is a list of upcoming immunization clinics:
