Law enforcement is seeking an armed robber who attempted to hold up two gas stations Saturday afternoon in Geauga County and may have tried to rob a store in Streetsboro, according to Geauga County Sheriff’s Lt. John Hiscox.

The suspect is described as a roughly 6-foot-tall, white, young, slim male wearing a blue hoodie, jeans and black ski mask and carrying a blue bag, according to the sheriff’s reports.

At about 5:18 p.m., the suspect, carrying a gun, entered the BP gas station at 16220 Main Market Road in Parkman Township, according to the report.

“(He) demanded money. The clerk refused and (the suspect) yelled profanities and left out the east door,” the report said.

At about 6:03 p.m., a man wearing a blue jacket with a grey hood entered the Gas USA station at 13819 West Center St. in Burton Village, but did not get anything from the register, according to a separate sheriff’s report.

He left in a vehicle that was parked in the elementary school parking lot.

Hiscox said the department is coordinating with the Streetsboro Police Department since a similar crime was committed in the city limits, Hiscox said.

So far, there is no solid information regarding the vehicle the suspect fled in, he said.

The images to the right are the suspect taken from surveillance footage. Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to contact Sheriff’s Detective Aaron Graley at 1-440-279-2065.
