A Claridon Township man has been a third-degree felony following a Dec. 29 burglary in Hambden Township.
Geauga County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Thomas James Nichols, 28, of 12860 Mayfield Road, Lot 127, last week at a home at 14905 GAR Highway in Hambden.
Detectives were investigating the burglary of a High County Drive home when they located some of the property at a Ashtabula County pawn shop.
Nichols said a leaf blower that was taken in the burglary was in a shed. Detectives located the leaf blower and Nichols was arrested.
Nichols posted 10 percent of a $2,500 bond after appeared in Chardon Municipal Court on Friday. His case was bound over to Geauga County Common Pleas Court.
