Like many other Geauga County communities, Middlefield Village is struggling with scofflaws who abuse its recycling center, dumping trash and furniture, and leaving a mess behind for village workers to clean up at taxpayers’ expense. “It’s terrible,” Councilman Rick Seyer said during their July 14 meeting.
