A brief but fierce thunderstorm buzz-sawed a swath through the northern half of Auburn Township Saturday afternoon, downing trees and power lines, blocking roadways and delaying a wedding reception at Adam Hall. According to Auburn Township Trustee P.J. Cavanagh, the storm was possibly a level 1 tornado, but Fire Chief John Phillips said he couldn’t confirm that. “I wanted to research the storm, but I was too busy out there picking up pieces,” Phillips said.
