Visit to Morgan Conservatory
NDES third-grade students rolled up their sleeves and discovered the art of making paper at Morgan Conservatory. The trip began with a tour of the factory, where the students viewed many different paper presses and learned about different types of natural and organic material that make paper. The tour concluded with each student creating paper using various colors to drip into a water-based solution.
Their works of art will be on display and available to the highest bidder at the upcoming NDES online auction this winter.
Preschool “Spooktacular” Adventure
On Halloween, the Notre Dame Elementary Preschool was transformed into a Trick-or-Treat trail. In small groups, children dressed in not-so-scary costumes, visited different treat stations, played a variety of Halloween games and enjoyed a delicious snack.
