Santa at Geauga Lyric Theater
Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Santa Claus will greet visitors of all ages at the Geauga Lyric Theater located at 101 Water St. in Chardon. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos with Santa.
Santa is the main event, but families can also make holiday crafts, decorate cookies, make an ornament for a gift, create an eatable necklace, play Christmas bingo and more. Local artist Rachel Parks will be face painting this year.
Santa at the Theater is offered free to the community by GLTG, with help from Just 4 Kidz., a quality childcare facility with two locations in the Chardon area.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos with Santa. The Geauga Lyric Theater is located at 101 Water Street on the historic Chardon square.

Lakeland Civic Chorus Concert
Dec. 11, 4 p.m.
The Lakeland Civic Chorus will present “Holiday Cheer for All to Hear” in the college’s Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland. Free parking is available.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $2 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the college’s box office on the date of the concert or in advance by calling 440-525-7134 or online through lakelandcc.edu/arts.
12 Days of Christmas Auction
Geauga Lyric Theater has begun an online auction just in time for Christmas. Offered are many fun and unique items, such as birthday parties, sleepovers or one’s name on the marquee. Choose the buy-it-now option or wait until Dec. 12 to see who wins.
Proceeds from the auction will fund theater productions, education and outreach programs.

Music of the Holiday Season
Dec. 13, 7 p.m.
Join for the renowned Cleveland chorus concert under the direction of David Gilson at Hamlet Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, Chagrin Falls. Western Reserve Chorale will perform high quality choral music of the season and traditional favorites including “Fantasia on Christmas Carols” and “Wassail Song” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, selections by Dawson, Bach, Palestrina, Verdi and others. A Christmas carol sing-along will follow the program.

GANG Celebrates Christmas
Dec. 20, 6:30-8 p.m.
The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) will be celebrating its 15th annual free Christmas concert at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center St. in Chardon. Geauga County-based musician Nicky Bucur will lead area musicians in a pre-Christmas Jam Session with songs of the season.
Bucur is a freelance musician and hospice volunteer who has been bringing joyful music to area families and organizations for over two decades. Musicians of all ages are welcome to bring their instruments and join in the fun.
The free event is open to the general public; no reservations are necessary.
