Home Delivered Holiday Meal
The Geauga County Department on Aging will offer a free traditional meal to any Geauga County seniors, age 60 and older, who will be home and alone on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
There will be no Home Delivered Meal delivery or congregate meals on Christmas Day. Instead, holiday meals are available by preorder only.
In order to ensure holiday meal delivery, complete an order form and mail to the Department on Aging, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, OH 44024 by Dec. 19.
If one is or knows a senior citizen that would like a holiday meal, call the department on aging at 440-279-2130.

- Non-Contact Boxing: Mondays, 2-3 p.m. Starting Jan. 23, a new non-contact boxing style fitness class will be offered. Call to reserve a spot. The class will focus on strength, speed, balance, flexibility, brainwork and eye hand coordination through a variety of exercises and core conditioning. The goal is to improve overall fitness levels and to help maintain a strong healthy body while working on good posture and increasing core strength. Equipment is provided. Donations accepted. - Strength Training: Mondays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

- Health Kiosk: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Use for blood pressure, oxygen levels and weight measurements.

- Geauga Senior Players: Dec. 16, 11 a.m. Theater group will put on a free holiday show. Call the center to reserve lunch.

- It’s a Wrap: Dec. 15, 12:30 p.m. Hospice of Western Reserve & Brooks House will help seniors wrap any gifts they may have. Wrapping paper and treats will be supplied. Free.
- Jingle Bell Jamboree: Dec. 21, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Enjoy pizza and musical entertainment by Ron Papaleo.
