No stranger to the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild stage, director Mark Cipra is returning there as an actor for the first time in seven years. Previously seen with the GLTG in “Proof” and “You Can’t Take It With You,” Cipra is cast in the role of Sandy in the current production of “The Westing Game.”
Mr. Cipra is a well-respected regional actor, IT consultant and an adjunct professor at Lake Erie College, with many roles to his credits at theaters ranging from the Beck Center to The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. The current production interests him because of the mystery.
The audience has the opportunity to play investigator during performances, when Cipra and the rest of the talented ensemble are pawns in “The Westing Game.”
Running March 14-30, Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m. Marquee sponsor is Middlefield Bank.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, and a special price of $8 for children ages 12 and under.
