The iconic Geauga Lyric Theater is poised to steal the spotlight after renovations, scheduled to begin next year. Geauga Lyric Theater Guild Executive Director Erika Hansen asked Chardon City Council to sponsor the theater in its application to receive a $200,000 grant from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission to update the building — which has already received thorough maintenance care from her staff.
