The Eleventh District Court of Appeal has dismissed the state of Ohio’s requests to appeal orders removing the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office from two juvenile cases. While the appellate court did not address the role of a county prosecutor in juvenile court proceedings, the three-judge panel found the controversy at issue was between the state of Ohio and Geauga County Juvenile Court Judge Tim Grendell, who was not a party to the juvenile cases.
