Geauga County Engineer Joe Cattell recently announced the start/continuance of construction on the following roads in Geauga County:
- Valentine Road in Thompson Township. Bridge and culvert replacements between the Leroy Township line and Clay Street. Road will be closed to traffic. Detour route will be posted.
- Fairmount Road in Newbury Township. Culvert replacement between the Watt Road and Sperry Road. Work is scheduled to begin on/about July 9 and will last for approximately three weeks. Road will be closed to traffic. Detour route will be posted.
- Claridon Troy Road in Burton Township. Asphalt resurfacing from the Village of Burton corporation line to Taylor Wells Road will resume July 9. Traffic will be maintained.
- Laser Drive Reconstruction in Chester Township. Reconstruction by cement stabilization including asphalt resurfacing. Work is scheduled to begin on/about July 16.. Road will be closed.
- Cedar Road in Chester Township. Asphalt resurfacing from County Line Road to state Route 306. Traffic will be maintained.
- Heath Road in Chester and Munson Townships. Asphalt resurfacing from U.S. 322 to Kim Drive. Traffic will be maintained.
