Two Men And A Truck participates in an annual program called Movers for Moms to give back to mothers in need each Mother’s Day. In its eighth year, the national program continues to grow and gain additional success.
The Movers for Moms objective is to provide women living in domestic abuse or homeless shelters with essential items such as soap, laundry detergent and bedding. Two Men And A Truck partners with local churches, businesses and other organizations to collect goods to help make a difference in women’s lives and give them hope with essential care items most people take for granted, which not only positively impacts the mothers in need, but their entire families as well.
The 2016 campaign was a success. The Two Men And A Truck franchise in Wickliffe partnered with 30 different businesses where people could drop off items for donation at 16 different sites throughout Cleveland. More than 3,000 items were collected and delivered to WomenSafe, Inc. in Chardon on May 8.
